Chocolate Dot
There is a specific joy that only exists in certain combinations: chocolate and sky blue. It is the colour of a tin of biscuits found in a grandmother's kitchen. Of a vintage café that still plays the same music. Of a dress someone wore in a photograph that everyone remembers. This set was made from that joy — deliberately, and with a very fine brush. The sky-blue nails received their chocolate dots one at a time. Not stamped. Not printed. Painted. Each dot the same size as the last, placed with a brush tip and a patient hand that knows the difference between close enough and right. The dark chocolate nails received their cream dots in exactly the same way — inverted, but equally careful, equally deliberate. The nude-blush accent nails carry the same dot pattern in a softer key, with a chocolate tip that echoes the format without repeating it exactly. Every combination was made twice — once for each row — so the ten nails carry ten versions of the same conversation between two colours that should not be this good together, and are. Made by hand. Made with humour and warmth. Made for the person who notices the dots and then counts them — and smiles at the result.
