The hardest things to make are the ones that look like nothing was done. This set is the proof. The blush-pink base was chosen after looking at a lot of pink — too warm, too cool, too bright, too muted. This one is right. The exact shade that makes hands look their most themselves: like skin on a good day, like the inside of something soft, like warmth you can see. The white tip was applied by hand across each nail — a clean, straight edge that requires steadiness and practice because there is nothing else on the nail to distract from it. If the line is wrong, it shows. This line is not wrong. It sits at the same height on every nail, the same width, the same brightness.
