Blooming Soft
There are combinations that make you feel something immediately — before you understand why. Red and cream is one of those. There is something in the contrast that feels warm and deliberate and slightly nostalgic, like a café table in a town you have never been to but feel you have. This set was built from that feeling. The crimson nails received their cream dots first — each one placed with a dotting tool at a consistent size and spacing, the eye moving across the nail the way a hand might arrange buttons in a row. The cream nails received their crimson dots in exactly the same way, the pattern inverted but the care identical. And then the flower nail. On a blush base that is softer than either the red or the cream, a burgundy bloom was painted by hand — petals that are slightly transparent at the edges the way pressed flowers are, the colour deepening toward the centre the way real petals do. The whole composition sits in the middle of the set, surrounded by dots on either side, the way something gentle sometimes sits at the centre of everything loud. Made by hand. Made with the patience of someone who counted every dot and thought about every petal. Made for someone who will notice both.
