There is a specific kind of abundance that does not feel like too much — where every element was chosen, every detail placed, and the result is not noise but composition. This set was made from that understanding. The nude-blush base came first — warm, quiet, the ground that receives everything placed on it without competing. The burgundy tip on the accent nail came next, and with it the red polka dots, each one pressed by hand. And then the jewellery began. Gold bead chains were draped across one nail, each bead a separate placement. A freshwater pearl chain was swept across another, its arcs falling the way a chain falls when it is held at both ends and allowed to rest. Coloured crystal chains in rainbow sequence were placed on the fourth nail — blue, purple, pink, gold, the sequence deliberate and complete. A miniature clock charm was set on the fifth nail — the kind of charm that makes people lean forward and ask, quietly, if it tells the time. A gold cross charm. Stacked gold rings. Crystal star scatters. Every element on every nail was placed by one pair of hands, working one detail at a time, in the order that made each subsequent detail possible. This is the most complex set in the collection. It is also the most personal — because the person who wears it will be asked about every single nail, and each answer will be different. Made by hand.
