Daisy Days

There are days that feel like they were made specifically for you — when the light is right and everything is soft and the world is doing exactly what it should. This set was made to carry that feeling on your hands. The pink-to-white ombré was blended slowly, the way good things always are — starting with a soft blush at the base that deepens very slightly before it fades, arriving at white at the tip without a seam anywhere in between. The white French tips were applied after, clean and precise, because the daisies needed a solid base to grow from. And then the daisies. Each one was painted by hand — beginning with five white petals, each reaching outward from the centre the way real daisy petals reach for the nearest light source. The yellow centre was added last, a small disc of the most specific yellow, placed at the heart of each flower. Some nails received two daisies. Some received three. The arrangement was not planned, because real flowers don't grow on a grid. White dots scatter between them like seeds. Every element on every nail was placed by one pair of hands that understood what this set was supposed to feel like — and felt it while they were making it.
