Deep Ocean Set

It started at a depth where daylight is mostly gone and everything that exists does so on its own terms — glowing, drifting, entirely without self-consciousness. Jellyfish that move like thoughts you can't quite hold. Octopus arms curling through water that carries its own light. The blue that only exists down here, darker than navy, richer than cobalt, the colour of something that has never been properly named because too few people have ever seen it. We stayed at that depth long enough to understand every detail of it. Then we painted it, surface by surface, creature by creature, by hand.

Every set of Deep Ocean Set is handcrafted across six surfaces that together build a complete underwater world. The deep blue marble nails — swirled in navy and white the way deep water swirls, each one slightly different, each one moving. The jellyfish nail — hand-painted in extraordinary detail, translucent dome and trailing tentacles, the creature that has existed for five hundred million years and remains the most beautiful thing in the sea. The octopus nail — warm amber and terracotta, its arms reaching across the surface with the curiosity of something that has never been afraid of anything. A starfish charm sits three-dimensionally on another nail, dimensional and warm. Pearl spheres rest between everything like bubbles caught mid-rise. And the whole set has that particular blue quality — of something seen through a great deal of beautiful water.

This is the most complex set we have ever made. It took the longest. It was worth every single moment.
