Rainbow Drop

Some sets are made from restraint. This one was made from the opposite of that. The matte nude base was the one decision made in advance — chosen because neon needs ground, the way music needs silence. Everything else was made in the moment. Six colours were loaded onto separate brushes: lime, orange, hot pink, cobalt, turquoise, yellow. Each squiggle was drawn in a single continuous movement — a line that starts somewhere, changes its mind a few times, and ends somewhere else, exactly like every interesting thing in the world. No stencil was used. No pattern was planned. The squiggles on each nail were drawn differently from the last because different is the whole point. Some nails lead with lime. Some lead with orange. Some have a hot pink dot where a squiggle paused. Every nail is different. Every nail belongs to the same set. The matte finish was applied over everything — flattening the shine, settling the colours, turning what could have been a loud product into something that reads as intentional and considered. Joyful is not the same as chaotic. This set is the proof.
