We began with a colour that does not have a simple name. It is rose and it is gold and it is the inside of a shell and it is the skin of someone who has been sitting in soft afternoon light for an hour. We mixed it until it was exactly that — and then we built it up in layers, each one thin, each one deliberate, because this kind of depth cannot be achieved in a single coat. It has to be earned.
The shimmer inside is not added on top. It lives inside the colour — pearl particles suspended through every layer, so the glow you see is not a surface effect. It moves from within. Turn your hand and the warmth shifts. Hold it still and it settles into something that looks less like nail polish and more like metal spun from rose and light and a great deal of patience.
