It started with a room full of old things — the kind that smell of wood and dried roses, where gold has gone slightly warm with age and everything has the quality of something that was made to last. That particular dusty mauve that only exists in old wallpaper, old velvet, old paintings. A colour with a story already inside it. We wanted to wear that story on our hands.
Every set of The Antique Blush is handcrafted with that exact atmosphere. The mauve base is deep and warm — not quite pink, not quite purple, the colour that sits in the space between them and refuses to be defined. Cream tips rise from it in a shape that curves rather than cuts — softer than a French tip, more considered, the edge of something that was designed with real intention. Then the gold scrollwork arrives — hand-drawn in continuous curves and spirals that move like something decorative from another century, anchoring into the mauve, trailing across the cream, finding its way into every corner the way old gold always does. Tiny rhinestones catch the light where the scrolls meet, quiet as starlight, impossible to miss once seen.
This is a set for someone who understands that the most interesting things are always the ones that have lived a little. That aged gold is more beautiful than new. That dusty rose is more romantic than bright.
