Tiger Stripes

There are sets that whisper. This one does not whisper. The deep magenta-pink shimmer base was built until it had the kind of saturation that does not need anything else to be beautiful — and then the stripes were added anyway, because this set was made for someone who is not interested in stopping at beautiful. The dark burgundy stripes were drawn entirely by hand, each one pulled across the shimmer surface with a flat brush in a single deliberate stroke. Not the same stroke repeated — each stripe was made separately, at a slightly different angle, with a slightly different width at start and end, because real stripes in real animal fur are never perfectly uniform. The pattern covers the full nail from edge to edge, the stripes reaching the cuticle and the tip without hesitation. The shimmer base is visible between the stripes — not as a gap, but as the skin of the animal itself. The two colours together, in this arrangement, do not look like nail art. They look like something that grew that way. Made by hand, one stripe at a time, by someone who pulled every line without hesitation — because the moment you hesitate on a stroke this fast, you can see it. None of these are hesitations. All of these are decisions.
