An Indian wedding is rarely one event. There is haldi in the morning, mehendi in the afternoon, sangeet at night and a reception that needs full glam. Matching your nails to each function is one of the easiest ways to pull a look together, and with press-ons you can switch sets between events in a few minutes.
Haldi: sunny, fresh and easy to clean
Haldi is all yellow, orange and marigold, and things get messy. Choose light, cheerful designs and shorter lengths.
- Butter-yellow French tips, like Lily & Sunshine or Painted Cream.
- Soft florals on a nude base.
- Avoid very light white or ivory sets, which can pick up turmeric stains.
Tip: wear haldi nails on adhesive tabs, then switch to a glued set afterwards.
Mehendi: greens, florals and a soft base
Your nails sit right next to the mehendi, so a soft base lets the pattern shine. Greens and florals match the usual mehendi décor.
- Sage, emerald and gold, like Gilded Garden.
- Cat eye in sage green, like Still Glowing.
- Pistachio and gold filigree, like Pistachio Palace.
Sangeet: sparkle that moves under lights
Sangeet is dancing, stage lights and phone videos, which is where cat-eye and chrome nails come alive. The magnetic shimmer moves every time your hands do.
- Rose-gold cat eye: Rose Gilt.
- Icy blue shimmer with silver butterflies: Silver Butterfly.
- Pink cat eye with gold chrome tips: Golden Hour Bloom.

Wedding day: let the bride lead
For the main ceremony, guests usually do best with elegant, quieter nails: nude French, soft blush, a touch of gold. Brides can go all out with 3D work, pearls and crystals. Our bridal nails guide covers choosing a set to match your lehenga.
Reception: evening glam
Receptions lean towards gowns, sarees and Indo-western looks. Deep wine, burgundy, chrome and jewel tones look rich in evening light.
- Wine-red ombre: Velvet Rosé.
- Gold chrome with crystals: Golden Heirloom.
- Jewellery-inspired nails with gold rings and chains: browse jewellery press-on nails.
For bridesmaids and guests
- Coordinate, do not copy. Pick one shared colour and let each person choose a design.
- Keep length practical if you are helping with rituals or dancing all night.
- Group orders: for five or more sets we coordinate designs and size everyone over WhatsApp. Start on our custom page.
How to switch sets between functions
- Soak your fingertips in warm soapy water for about 5 minutes.
- Lift each nail gently from the side with the cuticle stick.
- Wipe your nails with alcohol, then apply the next set.
The whole change takes about 20 minutes, and every set goes back in its case to be worn again. Browse all press-on nails for mehendi, haldi, sangeet and reception.
